California Yankee has a list of charitable organizations that are helping out in the devastated areas where the death toll is now estimated to exceed 30,000. It's a bit early to start looking at the political angle here, help needs to get in now, but yes, the free world would do well in alleviating the suffering in Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Kashmir region. It's another opportunity to pull together and help rebuild a challenged region.
